Vita Sancta

Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026

Your planner is private account data. Community posts are shared only when you choose to publish them. Digital Discipline’s detailed device-usage history stays on your device.

This policy explains how David Rohrer, operating Vita Sancta ("Vita Sancta," "we," or "us") handles information in the Vita Sancta app and at vitasanctaapp.com. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

Information we handle

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, provide and restore your planner, synchronize your changes, verify paid access, deliver account emails, operate the features you choose, prevent abuse, moderate Community, resolve support requests and meet legal obligations. RevenueCat’s subscription reports help us understand purchases and subscription performance. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Vita has no advertising SDK, no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics or Sentry integration, and no AI service. My Vita uses preset guidance and check-ins.

Private does not mean end-to-end encrypted

Other Vita members cannot read your private planner or custom prayers. Supabase access rules restrict ordinary clients to their own records; connections to our services use HTTPS. Authorized service operators and infrastructure providers may access information when necessary to run, secure or support the service. Cloud planner data is not end-to-end encrypted with a key known only to you. Avoid storing secrets or information you do not want processed by the service.

What others can see

Community members see the words you publish, your optional first name, a post date and an interaction count. They do not see your account email, account name, authentication identifier or backend owner identifier. Posts are anonymous to other members, not to Vita’s authorized operators. Anything you write may identify you or another person, so leave out surnames, contact details and private third-party information. There are no public profiles, comments or direct messages. Existing private Community entries are not automatically published.

If you use the system Share action, Vita exports only the previewed streak or weekly-rating card to the app you select. A weekly card includes the displayed life-area names and ratings; a streak card does not include task names. The recipient app handles the exported copy under its own practices. We cannot remove screenshots or copies others have already made.

Digital Discipline and device permissions

Digital Discipline is optional. It is never activated just because you schedule a prayer or task.

Blocking depends on device permissions and operating-system behavior. Essential calling, device settings and Vita itself are protected from accidental restriction. Accountability choices are a voluntary aid; they do not send usage reports to a partner.

Service providers and external resources

We use Supabase for authentication, private database/storage and Community services; RevenueCat for native subscription validation and reporting; Resend for confirmation/reset emails; and Cloudflare for website delivery, DNS and support-email forwarding. Support correspondence is delivered to the operator’s email mailbox. Apple and Google also process sign-in and store transactions under their policies. We share only the information needed for each provider’s role. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

The policy website has no advertising, tracking pixels or optional analytics scripts. Hosting/security providers still process network requests. Official prayer/reading links open external resources whose privacy practices apply when you visit them. We do not send your planner to those sites.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and planner information while your account exists, including when a subscription expires, so expiry alone does not erase your planner. Deleted records may leave content-free identifiers needed to prevent sync duplication or restoration. Sync staging can remain temporarily until cleanup; private recovery copies may remain on a device until account deletion. Removed Community content may remain available to authorized moderators for review, while posts you delete have their name/text cleared. Anti-spam counters, reports and moderation records remain associated with the account as necessary to run Community.

Use Settings → Account & subscription → Delete account. Account management and deletion remain available when paid access has expired. Successful deletion removes the authentication account, private cloud planner/custom prayers, private reward images, account-linked Community records, stored provider tokens and the RevenueCat customer profile; it clears that account’s local data on the device performing deletion. Other offline devices can retain a local copy until they reconnect or their app data is removed. Store transaction records, support/legal records and provider security logs may remain where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention or handling an unresolved request. Restricted backups, if maintained by a provider, age out through that provider’s retention process rather than being individually edited. We do not use such retained copies to restore a deleted account for ordinary use.

Deleting your Vita account or uninstalling Vita does not cancel Apple/Google billing. Cancel through the store separately. See Account Deletion for in-app and no-app request options and the data covered.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your content, choose whether to post, remove a public post, block a poster, decline optional device permissions, turn off Digital Discipline and request account deletion. Email [email protected] to request access, a copy, correction, deletion or help withdrawing a permission or consent. We verify account ownership before disclosing or deleting data and respond within the period required by applicable law. We do not ask for your password by email.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to portability, restriction or objection, to withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing, to appeal a decision, or to complain to your local data-protection authority. Our ordinary service processing supports our agreement with you; security and abuse prevention support legitimate interests, and legal obligations may require certain records. Before opening and syncing your private planner on a device, Vita asks for affirmative consent to process religious beliefs and health information you choose to enter. You can pause that device’s private planner and future sync in Account & subscription → Privacy choices; this does not erase saved data or cancel store billing. Contact support to withdraw consent across the account or use Delete account to remove the data. Vita records the policy version and acceptance on that device; a newly set up device asks again. Do not include another person’s sensitive information without a valid basis. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects through automated profiling.

Audience and updates

Vita is intended for adults aged 18 and over, not children. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Material changes will be explained in the app or through an appropriate account notice. The effective date identifies this version. Continued retention and use must follow applicable law; a policy update does not silently authorize an unrelated use of your private planner.
